The farmhouse of Kuchař – seat of ID Carolina – declared of historical sightAutor: PhDr. Jan Vaculík , vloženo: 29.7.2016 February 19th 2016 Ministry of Culture of Czech Republic declared the farmhouse of Kuchař – seat of ID Carolina – the historical sight | ||
During the search for a site suitable for the realization of the aforementioned goals, a former farmhouse was discovered in the central Bohemian village of Kuchař, which is situated both halfway between Prague and Karlštejn Castle as well as in the vicinity of the historical route Via Carolina. The layout of the house allows for it to be used as an educational exhibition area for the presentation of life and economy in the reign of Charles IV, especially his contribution to the development of the Czech lands. There are two areas available for holding exhibitions: the courtyard and also the enclosed space of both barns. Moreover, the position of the estate in central Bohemia offers itself to portrayal of Charles IV as a European figure, since the central Bohemian region has signed treaties of cooperation and friendship with other regions tied to the emperor, such as Burgundy, the Rhineland-Palatinate, the Opole Voivodeship, and the Italian region of Marche.
The estate was donated to the Charles Institute of Education and Promotion by its founder, consultant, manager and former chief of The Headquaters of The Criminal Police of the Czech Republic, Charles University graduate PhDr. Jan Vaculík. |
We’d like to expand the seat of the European Institute of Charles IV of Luxembourg to provide utility premises for:
› Colloquia
› Public lectures
› Exhibitions
› Social events
› Concerts
› Accommodation for corporate events
› Seasonal open-air events
› County Executive Ceremonial Assembly Hall of the Central Bohemia region
